Support Our Member’s Family In Need After Tragic House Fire
Our Member’s family were victims of a tragic fire last night. Ivar Enge has been a dedicated member of Public Employees LIUNA Local 71 since 2005. He is an Equipment Operator Lead / Journey 3 with the State of Alaska in Petersburg. We are Laborers, and we are STRONGER TOGETHER. That’s why we’re asking you to support our Brother’s family in this time of need. Please contribute in any way that you can, and share this message with others in union solidarity.
A friend of the family posted this notice on social media:
“A firework landed on their deck while they were asleep and started an inferno that spread quickly throughout their house. Thankfully, they were able to escape unharmed.
As you can imagine, they are in a state of shock right now. Their beloved home, along with so many memories, possessions, and valuables are gone. Please help support them financially if you’re able as they navigate through this tremendous loss. QR code and link below.
Another immediate need is also a rental house for them, their two young boys, and two dogs. If you know of anything please let me know!
