Local 71 Featured At MOA Safety Meeting

Today in Anchorage, Local 71 Business Manager, Bill Meers, was invited to speak at Mayor LaFrance’s Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) Safety Meeting for Parks & Recreation/Beautification at the Spenard Recreation Center.

Mayor LaFrance has prioritized public safety and Local 71 represents our largest city’s Healthy Spaces Crews, along with Operations, Horticulture, and Parks Maintenance.

Business Manager, Bill Meers, and Business Representative, Richard Lott, addressed members at this meeting (pictured below) who represented the Entire Crew MOA: Eagle River, North/ South, Horticultural, Natural Resources (tree crew), Healthy Spaces (camp crew).
