- The Fairbanks Central Labor Council recommends a NO vote on the ballot measure to move elections. This move will cost more to administer the vote, and will require extra expenses because the municipality will not be able to use the state voting machines it currently uses when the election is not held on the same day.
- .A NO vote is also recommended for the cumbersome hand counting of all ballots – let’s get the results the same night and not waste time
